Morocco, Colombia reach round of 16 at FIFA Women’s World Cup

Morocco and Colombia reached round of 16 at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup on Thursday.

South Korea’s 1-1 draw with Germany paved the way for Morocco to reach their maiden Women’s World Cup Round of 16, after Morocco’s 1-0 win against Colombia in the last game in Group H.

Switzerland, Norway, Australia, Nigeria, Japan, Spain, England, Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden, South Africa, France, Jamaica and the US are other teams to reach the round of 16 in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Round of 16 will begin on Saturday with Switzerland-Spain game.

The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup will conclude with the final on Aug. 20.
