Monaco, Real Madrid reach EuroLeague Final Four

ANKARA

Monaco beat Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv 97-86 on Wednesday to reach three victories in Game 5 of the playoff series and their maiden Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four.

Jordan Loyd rallied Monaco to a vital victory with 21 points at Salle Gaston Medecin.

Wade Baldwin IV’s 27-point performance was not enough to carry the Israeli side to the Final Four.

Real Madrid meanwhile beat Partizan Belgrade 98-94 in a Game 5 match at WiZink Center.

Sergio Rodriguez led the Madrid side with 19 points, while Partizan’s best player on the field was Kevin Punter with 28 points.

Monaco will face Olympiacos, while Real Madrid will take on rivals Barcelona in the Final Four round on May 19.

The third place game and final matches will be held on May 21.
