Miami Heat beat Denver Nuggets in Game 2 to tie NBA finals series

ANKARA

The Miami Heat on Sunday won at Denver Nuggets 111-108 in NBA finals Game 2 to tie the series.

Home team Denver were on an 83-75 lead by the end of the third quarter at the Ball Arena. But in the fourth quarter, the Heat hit five three-pointers to win the match and have the home-court advantage.

The next two games will be held in Miami.

The team that wins four games in the series will be the 2023 champions.

Denver’s Serbian center Nikola Jokic scored 41 points and took 11 rebounds but he was unable to avoid the loss.

Nuggets guard Jamal Murray posted a double-double with 18 points and 10 assists.

Gabe Vincent scored 23 points for the Heat.

Miami duo Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo had 21 points each.

Game 3 will be held on Wednesday at Miami’s Kaseya Center.
