ANKARA
Sion’s Italian football star Mario Balotelli has made a return to Yukatel Adana Demirspor, the Turkish club announced on Friday.
The 33-year-old forward has signed a one-year contract with an option for a one-year extension, according to the club’s announcement on Instagram.
Balotelli previously joined Adana Demirspor in 2021 from Monza, where he scored 19 goals and provided seven assists in 35 appearances.
He then moved to Swiss club Sion in 2022.
Known as “Super Mario” for his remarkable on-field abilities, Balotelli has played for renowned teams such as Manchester City, Liverpool, AC Milan, and Inter.
In the 2022-23 season, Adana Demirspor finished in fourth place in the Trendyol Super Lig.
