Manchester United beat Fulham in Premier League season opener

ISTANBUL

Manchester United won the English Premier League season opener Friday against Fulham.

Joshua Zirkzee scored the winning goal with a close-range finish in the 87th minute at Old Trafford.

Alejandro Garnacho assisted Dutch striker Zirkzee in the narrow win.

The Red Devils will visit Brighton and Hove Albion at Falmer Stadium next week.
