ANKARA
Lille beat Nice 2-1 in a week 18 match Friday to remain in the third spot in the French Ligue 1.
Moroccan winger Sofiane Diop scored the first goal for Nice in the 29th minute at Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
After finishing the first half 1-0 down, Lille leveled with Icelandic attacker Hakon Arnar Haraldsson’s goal in the 48th minute.
French defender Bafode Diakite netted the winning goal for the hosts in the 63rd minute.
Lille has 32 points in the standings, while Nice is in the fifth spot with 30 points.
