Libya’s NOC to host first US-Libya Energy Forum

Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC), in partnership with US-based Freedom First, will stage the inaugural US-Libya Energy Forum in the coming period, the company announced on Sunday.

The purpose of the event is to promote a sustainable energy framework, increase bilateral ties, and draw US investment to Libya’s oil and gas sector.

It will also focus on transferring expertise and advancing technical know-how, the company said.

The forum in Libya is expected to draw delegates from leading US oil and gas firms, Libyan investors, and officials from across the public and private energy sectors.
