Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis exited Tuesday night’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers due to an abdominal muscle strain.

The injury occurred during the first quarter of the Lakers’ 118-104 loss at Philadelphia.

“Davis walked to the locker room with his right hand over his stomach when he left with 2:10 to go in the first quarter. Davis had four points in 10 minutes before he was hurt,” NBA said in a statement.

The LA Lakers said he will re-evaluated in approximately one week, and has returned to Los Angeles for treatment.

Davis, a nine-time NBA All-Star, won the 2020 NBA Finals and was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021

The 31-year-old power forward averaged 26.3 points and 12.1 rebounds in 41 games this season for the LA Lakers.
