Kenyan athletes win Boston Marathon in men’s, women’s

ANKARA

Kenyan athletes Evans Chebet and Hellen Obiri have won the men’s and women’s races in the 127th Boston Marathon.

Chebet, the 2022 Boston Marathon’s gold medalist, retained his title on Monday, clocking in at two hours, five minutes, and 54 seconds.

Meanwhile, in women’s category, Obiri won the 2023 title in Boston after completing the race in two hours, 21 minutes, and 38 seconds.

The Boston Marathon, one of the six major marathons with Tokyo, Berlin, London, Chicago, and New York, is a 42.195-kilometer or 26.2-mile course organized every year.
