Juventus secured a 2-0 derby win Saturday against Torino in the Italian top-tier football division, Serie A.
The home team scored the first goal in the 18th minute at the Allianz Stadium when US midfielder Timothy Weah had an easy chance and found the net after a rebound by goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic.
Turkish star Kenan Yildiz scored a late header to cement the victory.
Third-place Juventus increased their points to 24 in 12 matches. Mid-table Torino have 14 points.
Serie A leaders Napoli will visit second-place Inter Milan for a critical match Sunday.
Napoli have 25 points in 11 matches. Inter are only a point behind.
