ANKARA
Borussia Dortmund announced Thursday that Manchester United player Jadon Sancho joined the German club on loan.
The English winger, who has returned to the German Bundesliga side after 2.5 years, will be with Dortmund until June 30, 2024.
“When I came into the dressing room today, it felt like ‘coming home,'” said Sancho, “I know the club inside and out, I’ve always been very close with the fans here, and I’ve never lost contact with those in charge. I can’t wait to see my teammates again, go out on the pitch, play football with a smile on my face, prepare goals, score goals and help qualify for the Champions League.”
The 23-year-old, who had moved to the English Premier League side of Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund on July 23, 2021, was temporarily excluded from the Manchester United squad in Sept. 2023.
