Istanbul Airport was the Europe’s busiest air hub in the third quarter of 2022, according to a European airport trade association.
Having welcomed nearly 20 million passengers, the airport outpaced its rivals in London, Paris and Amsterdam, the Airports Council International (ACI) Europe data showed.
Antalya Airport in the Turkish Mediterranean resort city was the seventh-busiest European airport in the 3-month period with 14.6 million passengers.
