NEW YORK, NY
Highway police in Utah stopped a driver who “suspected of being alcoholic”. When the officer approached the car, we found a 5-year-old child in the driver’s seat, not someone who was drunk in the middle of the day.
The police turned on their sirens when they saw that the vehicle was driving very slowly in the left lane and drawing zigzags. The 5-year-old boy pulled the car to the side of the road.
One of our Troopers in Weber Co. initiated a traffic stop on what he thought was an impaired driver. Turns out it was this young man, age 5, somehow made his way up onto the freeway in his parents' car. The video recording of the police officer’s conversation with the boy on the roadside was viewed about 800 thousand times on YouTube. The officer on the record said, “Are you 5 years old? Wow!” It is heard that he said and then asked how he learned to drive.
The child, whose identity was kept secret, stated that his mother did not agree to buy him a Lamborghini and that is why they quarreled. The 5-year-old driver said that after the argument, his family got into his car and headed for California to buy a Lamborghini.
Utah Police said in a tweet about the subject: “It may need a little more money for Lamborghini. There was only 3 dollars in his wallet. ”
