Harry Kane’s second-half goals led Bayern Munich to defeat Galatasaray 2-1 in week four of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday and booked them a spot in the knockout stage.
Neither team was able to break the deadlock in the first half, but Kane netted a header in the 80th minute while Joshua Kimmich assisted him at Allianz Arena.
After six minutes, Kane made a close-range finish to double the lead, assisted by Mathys Tel.
Galatasaray’s Cedric Bakambu scored a stoppage-time goal as the match ended in favor of the German club.
In another Group A match, Copenhagen secured a 4-3 comeback win against a 10-man Manchester United at Parken Stadium.
Bayern Munich are at the top of the table with 12 points, followed by Copenhagen and Galatasaray with four points.
Manchester United are at the bottom of Group A with three points.
