Greek, Ukrainian leaders discuss bilateral relations, regional developments

ATHENS

The Greek prime minister and Ukrainian president on Monday spoke over the phone and discussed bilateral relations and regional developments.

During the call, Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude to Greece’s Kyriakos Mitsotakis for Athens’ support in opening the EU’s accession negotiations with Ukraine.

Mitsotakis, for his part, reiterated that Greece will continue to support Ukraine both bilaterally and within the framework of the EU and NATO, it read.
