Germany’s wholesale prices were down by 2.7% year-on-year in August, the country’s statistical department Destatis said on Tuesday.
The decline was the fifth consecutive decrease in year-on-year wholesale prices.
Compared with the previous month, however, wholesale prices were up 0.2%.
Mineral oil products, whose rates decreased 15.8%, had the biggest impact on the annual decline in wholesale prices.
