Germany’s factory orders dropped by 3.2% year-on-year in October, the country’s statistical office Destatis said on Tuesday.
Orders also decreased by 9.8% in September, Destatis recalled and said that on a monthly basis, orders increased by 0.8% in October.
It added: “Excluding large-scale orders, there was a decrease of 1.2%.
“Compared with October 2021, new orders fell by a calendar adjusted 3.2% in October 2022.”
On a monthly basis, domestic orders decreased by 1.9% and foreign orders rose by 2.5% in October.
New orders from the euro area and other countries increased by 2.6%, and 2.5%, respectively, month-on-month in October.
