Germany’s export sentiment down to minus 1 in June

ISTANBUL

Germany’s export sentiment declined to minus 1 point in June, down from plus 0.2 points in May, according to the ifo Exports Expectations index.

The Munich-based research institute ifo revealed on Tuesday that computer and electronic product manufacturers in Germany expect a notable increase in exports, as well as furniture makers.

“Mechanical engineering and electrical equipment manufacturers expect export business to remain constant, as do the chemical industry and automakers,” said Ifo.
