German business sentiment improves to 1-year high

ANKARA

Germany’s business climate index rose to a 13-month high in March, according to data from a Munich-based research institute on Monday.

The Ifo Business Climate Index edged up to 93.3 points in March from 91.1 points in February, beating the market forecast of 91 points.

Companies’ assessments of the current business situation and their expectations improved in March.

The Ifo Business Expectations Index jumped to 91.2, up from 88.5 in February.
