French leaders PSG beat Nantes as superstar Kylian Mbappe comes off bench to score

French Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) won 2 – 0 at Nantes on Saturday as superstar Kylian Mbappe, came off the bench to score on a penalty kick.

PSG broke the deadlock in the 60th minute as Lucas Hernandez scored outside the box.

French forward Mbappe, who is rumored to be leaving PSG as a free agent this summer, scored from the penalty spot to secure the shoutout for his team.

Mbappe, 25, who has been a PSG player since 2017, is heavily linked to Real Madrid.

PSG are on 53 points in 22 matches to maintain their lead in the French league.

Their nearest opponents, Nice, have 39 points after a 1 – 0 loss Friday at Olympique Lyon.

Lille and Monaco have 38 points each.
