ISTANBUL
Turkish football powerhouse Fenerbahce will take on AEK Larnaca on the road Thursday in the fourth match of the UEFA Europa League.
With seven points under their belt, Fenerbahce are at the top of Group B with two wins and one draw, ahead of France’s Rennes on goal difference.
AEK Larnaca are third with one victory and two defeats, having collected three points from three games.
On matchday three, Fenerbahce enjoyed a 2-0 win over AEK Larnaca on home ground, with goals coming from Michy Batshuayi and Rafail Mamas (own goal).
Pawel Raczkowski from Poland will officiate the Group B fixture, which kicks off at 1645GMT at Larnaca’s 8,000-seat AEK Arena.
The Yellow Canaries face an uphill task with key players Luan Peres, Willian Arao, Mert Hakan Yandas, and Joshua King all sidelined by injuries.
On Thursday Trabzonspor will also host Monaco at 1900GMT at Senol Gunes Spor Complex in the Turkish Black Sea city of Trabzon.
With three points, Trabzonspor are in the third spot, three points behind Group H leaders Ferencvaros. Monaco collected six points from three games with two wins and one draw.
