Fenerbahce start official negotiations with Jose Mourinho

Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce have begun official negotiations with Manager Jose Mourinho, the Istanbul team announced on the Turkish Public Disclosure Platform.

The Yellow Canaries are rumored to be planning for the Portuguese coach to replace former Manager Ismail Kartal, with whom they parted ways on Friday.

According to the global sports media, the 61-year-old is on the verge of signing a two-year contract with the Turkish club.

Mourinho, one of the most successful football managers in history with 27 trophies, left his post at Italian Serie A club AS Roma in January.
