Everton beat Chelsea 2-0 at home in an English Premier League week 16 match on Sunday.
The Blues missed several goal attempts in the first half and Everton made them regret it in the second half at Goodison Park.
Malian midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure’s right-footed shot brought the lead to the hosts in the 54th minute.
Following Chelsea’s wasted efforts to equalize, Everton’s English winger Lewis Dobbin followed a corner kick well and made it 2-0 in the 92nd minute before the end of the match.
Everton, who are in 17th spot with 13 points in the league standings, secured their third consecutive league win.
Chelsea, on the other hand, fell to 12th spot with 19 points.
