The annual inflation rate stood at 10% in the eurozone this month, down from 10.6% in October, Eurostat said on Wednesday.
According to Eurostat’s flash estimate, energy is among the main contributors to the annual inflation rate with 34.9%, down from 41.5% in October.
Food, alcohol, and tobacco followed energy with 13.6%, non-energy industrial goods with 6.1%, and services with 4.2%.
Among euro area countries, the highest annual rates were posted by Latvia (21.7%), Lithuania and Estonia (both 21.4%), while the lowest rates were seen in Spain (6.6%), France (7.1%), and Malta (7.2%).
