European stocks open Friday with gains

ISTANBUL 

European stock exchanges began the last transaction day of the week with gains.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose by 0.42% to 435.2 points.

The UK’s FTSE 100 index started Friday at 7,524 points, an increase of 0.59%.

Germany’s DAX 30 was also up by 0.59% to 13,350 points.

France’s CAC 40 increased by 0.52% to 6,415 points.

Italy’s FTSE MIB was up 0.28% to 22,517, while Spain’s IBEX 35 saw a 0.45% rise to 8,224.7.
