European stocks ended Wednesday with losses, except for Spain.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 1.56 points, or 0.3%, to finish midweek at 518.84.
The UK’s FTSE 100 lost almost 48 points, or 0.58%, to end the session at 8,258. Germany’s DAX 30, meanwhile, shed 44 points, or 0.23%, to 19,377.
France’s CAC 40 was the worst performer of the day, diving 37 points, or 0.5%, to close at 7,497.
Italy’s FTSE MIB dropped 36 points, or 0.1%, to 34,697.
Spain’s IBEX 35, on the other hand, rose 32 points, or 0.27%, to end at 11,865.
