European stock markets close higher except for Spain

ISTANBUL

European stocks closed higher on Friday except for the IBEX 35 in Spain.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was up 1.57 points, or 0.34%, to close at 469.00.

The UK’s FTSE 100 rose 11 points, or 0.15%, to finish the session at 7,914.

Germany’s DAX 30 added 85 points, or 0.54%, to reach 15,881. France’s CAC 40 gained 38 points, or 0.51%, to hit 7,577 at the closing bell.

Italy’s FTSE MIB increased 118 points, or 0.43%, to 27,745.

Spain’s IBEX 35, on the other hand, fell 35 points, or 0.37%, to close at 9,415.
