Turkish football clubs Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Adana Demirspor will represent their country in the European cups in the new season.
Defending Turkish champions Galatasaray will enter the 2023-2024 UEFA Champions League second qualifying round.
Turkish league’s runners-up and Turkish Cup winners Fenerbahce, third-place Besiktas, and fourth-place Adana Demirspor qualified for the UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round.
Opponents to be named on June 21
The top-tier Champions League and third-tier Europa Conference League draws for the second qualifying round will be made on June 21.
So the opponents of the four Turkish clubs will be named next week.
Draws for the third qualifying round in UEFA competitions will be held July 24, and those for the playoffs will be made on Aug. 7.
Champions League qualifying stage’s match schedule
The Champions League second qualifying round’s first legs will be played on July 25-26, and the second legs will be held on Aug. 1-2.
Galatasaray will play in this phase.
The winners will advance to the third qualifying round. The first leg matches will be held on August 8-9, and their return matches will be on Aug. 15.
The Champions League playoffs will be on Aug. 22-23 and 29-30. The winning clubs will qualify for the group stage.
Europa Conference League qualifiers
The third-tier Europa Conference League’s second qualifying round that Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Adana Demirspor will play has been scheduled to start with first leg matches on July 27.
The second legs will be played on Aug. 3.
The third qualifying round will be on Aug. 10 and 17, and this stage will be followed by playoffs.
The first leg of the playoffs will be held on Aug. 24. The second legs will be a week later, Aug. 31.
The winners of the playoffs will qualify for the 2023-24 Europa Conference League group stage.
