ISTANBUL
The third edition of the European Games will begin next week in the Polish city of Krakow and the Malopolska region.
The 12-day competition, starting on June 21, will host about 7,300 people from 48 countries in 26 branches and 29 disciplines.
A total of 193 Turkish athletes, including 93 women will fight for 253 medals to be distributed.
The opening and closing ceremonies of the event will be held in the Malopolska region, and competitions in 11 disciplines will take place in Krakow.
The 13 different cities and towns where the games will be organized according to their branches are as follows:
KRAKOW: Ping pong, 3×3 Basketball, Canoe, Archery, Modern Pentathlon, Rugby 7s, Teqball, Triathlon, Padel.
MYSLENICE: Kick box, Muaythai
KRZESZOWICE: Cycling BMX Freestyle
KRYNICA-ZDROJ: Mountain bike, Judo, Tae-kwon-do
BIELSKO-BIALA: Karate.
CHORZOW: Athletics
NOWY SACZ: Break Dance
OSWIECIM: Artistic Swimming
RZESZOW: Water Sports-Jumping
TARNOW: Badminton, Beach Handball, Beach football, Sports Climbing
WROCLAW: Shooting
ZAKOPANE: Ski Jumping
NOWY TARG: Boxing
