Enerjisa invests 15.7 billion liras in 2023 overcoming global challenges

Turkish electricity distribution company Enerjisa’s investments reached 15.7 billion liras last year despite several global and local challenges, the company announced in a statement on Monday.

Speaking during the company’s ordinary general assembly meeting held on Thursday, company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Murat Pinar highlighted the myriad challenges faced globally in 2023, emphasizing the company’s resilient business model and dedicated team which enabled them to fulfill commitments across all stakeholder groups.

‘We are sustaining our investments in grids, technology, e-mobility, and customer solutions at a pacing speed thanks to our strong balance sheet and agile management approach,’ Pinar said, adding that company’s investments reached 15.7 billion liras in 2023.

He further highlighted that Enerjisa also ‘continue to advance in the direction of our vision of pioneering the new energy world for a better future.’

He vowed that the company would continue to develop projects and collaborations for the benefit of the society and create value for all its stakeholders and our country, while maintaining the stable growth rate.

Philipp Ulbrich, CFO of Enerjisa Enerji, remarked on the unique challenges confronting the global energy sector, noting the company’s adept management of potential adverse effects through solid financial performance and risk management strategies.

‘Especially after the earthquake disasters experienced in Toroslar region, we worked with all our might to dress the wounds and to rebuild the regional infrastructure,’ Ulbrich voices his confidence about Enerjisa’s pioneering role in the resolute energy transformation of Türkiye in line with their vision of ‘A Better Future’ in 2024 as well.

He said Enerjisa invested 13.5 billion liras in distribution infrastructure, crucial for energy transformation, surpassing commitments made to investors and fulfilling all financial obligations timely.
