Provinces across Türkiye are hosting victims of last month’s earthquakes.
After the magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 earthquakes, centered in the Kahramanmaras province, affected more than 13 million people across 11 provinces, many people were directed to safer locations.
The earthquake victims, including those who left the region by their own means, were placed in hotels, guesthouses, dormitories affiliated to Turkish Youth and Sports Ministry as well as their relatives or volunteer families in different provinces.
Also, psychosocial support is being offered to the affected adults and children.
According to the data obtained by Anadolu, Turkish capital Ankara hosts the most earthquake victims with 237,215, followed by Antalya with 155,000, Izmir 70,000, Konya 53,877, Mersin 62,184 and Elazig 50,000.
More than 45,000 people died in Türkiye in the twin earthquakes on Feb. 6.
