Dr. Mehmet Oz saved someone’s life at the airport

NEWARK, NEW JERSEY 

Famous Turkish cardiac surgeon  Dr. Mehmet Oz rushed to the aid a man who fell at Newark Liberty Airport. The incident occurred late on Monday.

Jeffrey Croissant, a police officer on duty at the airport, responded for the first time to a man who collapsed near the baggage claim area and had respiratory problems. Croissant’s calls for help, near by was Dr. Mehmet Oz.

Oz, who continued the heart massage until the oxygen tube came, managed to return the pulse to normal.

The 60-year-old man, whose life was saved, was hospitalized for observation.

”His face was purple like an eggplant”

“He fell on the grown and hit his head, his face was purple like an eggplant. He was not breathing, nor was his pulse beating”.

Stating that he opens the airway by applying CPR (heart massage and artificial respiration), “Anyone can learn CPR and save a life,” Dr. Oz said.

Dr. Oz had been in the press before. In 2015, Oz treated two wounded men until the medical teams arrived, and helped a British tourist who had broken foot in Manhattan two years ago.
