Dinner For The Homeless From The Fenerbahce DC Association

Turkish soccer club Fenerbahce DC Association members at the Capital Washington gave hot food to those living in the streets during the month of Ramadan and coronavirus.

Event held in Franklin Square, Washington D.C. Turkish shirts and Fenerbahce jersey’s worn, event was attended by many volunteers. The association, which provides about 200 people with hot food, also served baklava for dessert. The donation included a plate of chicken with rice, Turkish desert Baklava and water.

Our Goal:

Everyone has difficulties economically due to coronavirus. People may find it difficult to find food for homeless, as no one comes ton Washington. In this process, when everyone was staying at home, we put on a mask, maintained the social distance and distributed food by reducing contact. We organized this help as we approached the end of Ramadan. Our goal is to show how sensitive the Turks are. We, as Fenerbahce DC Association , create awareness and encourage them with exemplary behavior. ”
