The Danish football club Midtjylland thrashed Italian club Lazio 5-1 in a Thursday UEFA Europa League match, as Hungary’s Ferencvaros shocked France’s Monaco 1-0 in an away game.
In Denmark’s Herning, Midtjylland took a large win at home as Paulinho, Sory Kaba, Evander, Gustav Isaksen, and Erik Sviatchenko were the scorers.
Lazio’s Serbian star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic scored the only goal for the Italian club in the Group F match.
In another game in the group, Feyenoord hit Austria’s Sturm Graz 6-0 in the Netherlands’ Rotterdam.
It was the night’s largest win.

Meanwhile, Ferencvaros visited Monaco to beat their French opponents 1-0 at Stade Louis II in a Group H match.
Balint Vecsei scored the winning goal in the 80th minute.
Ferencvaros are atop Group H with six points. Trabzonspor are in second place with three points after they beat Serbia’s Crvena zvezda 2-1 at home.

Man United beat Sheriff, Ronaldo scores from penalty
Manchester United beat Sheriff 2-0 in Moldova as Cristiano Ronaldo scored for the English club in a Group E match.
In the game in Chisinau, English winger Jadon Sancho scored the opener in the minute 17 with a left-footed low shot in the box.
Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot was fouled in the area as the English team was awarded a penalty kick.
Ronaldo successfully converted the penalty kick in the 39th minute, as the Red Devils secured a 2-0 win.
Manchester United took their first points to be in the second spot in Group E, which is led by Spain’s Real Sociedad.
Real Sociedad won all their two games to bag six points.
Like Manchester United, Sheriff have three points.
Omonoia are yet to have a point after losing two matches in the group.
Originally scheduled for Sept. 15, the Arsenal vs. PSV Eindhoven match in London was postponed to Oct. 20 as the UK observes a period of national mourning after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
“This is due to the severe limitations on police resources and organisational issues related to the ongoing events surrounding the national mourning for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II,” UEFA earlier said.
