Tobias Lund Andresen of the DSM-Firmenich-PostNL took back-to-back wins at the Tour of Türkiye on Thursday.
The Danish cyclist completed the 177.9-kilometer (110-mile) track in four hours, 18 minutes, and 12 seconds in Stage 5 between the Aegean resort towns of Bodrum and Kusadasi.
His teammate Fabio Jakobsen came second, while Luri Leitao from the Caja Rural-Seguros RGA finished third.
Andresen, 21, retained the Turquoise jersey, worn by the general classification leader, with a time of 18 hours, 51 minutes, and 57 seconds.
The Tour of Türkiye, the only intercontinental bicycle tour in the world, is hosting four world tour teams, seven professional, 12 continental, and one national team.
The Turkish Cycling Federation has been organizing the tour, earlier known as the Marmara Tour, since 1963. It gained international status in 1965 and was brought under presidential authority in 1966.
The eight-day cycling event will continue with stage six between the Aegean resort town of Kusadasi and Manisa (Mount Spil) on Friday, and end in Istanbul on Sunday. The fifth stage had 162 cyclists from 25 teams.
