CrowdStrike shares down following Delta Air’s seeking outage damages

ISTANBUL

Following news flows that US-based air carrier Delta Air Lines would compensate its losses through CrowdStrike, the firm’s shares signaled for declines.

Delta Air Lines was one of the companies saw damages from IT outage caused by CrowdStrike’s update failure, which caused closures of airports and cancellations of flights.

Delta had to cancel thousands of flights due to outage and this situation means hundreds of millions of dollars.

According to pre-market data, the share price of CrowdStrike lost 4.7% to around $246 on Tuesday.

Pre-crisis level was over $340 per CrowdStrike share but it plummeted 25.6% in a week after the outage.

Pre-market data also signaled for a slight decline for Microsoft shares.
