The e-commerce expo, WORLDEF Istanbul 2024, is set to gather key figures from Türkiye and the global retail e-commerce ecosystem.
The event, in which Anadolu is the Global Communication Partner, will take place at Istanbul Yenikapi Event Area from June 6 – 8.
More than 20,000 visitors from 40 countries are expected, according to a statement by WORLDEF.
“WORLDEF Istanbul 2024 offers Turkish producers and retail brands a chance to enter global markets,” said WORLDEF President Omer Nart.
He highlighted a unique program focused on retail technologies and e-commerce, including a new business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking system to foster business collaborations.
The event will feature an e-commerce focused producers pavilion, where major global buyers will meet e-commerce producers.
“Participants will be categorized into pavilions, minimizing competition and maximizing cooperation. This approach will facilitate significant trade at the producer stands,” added Nart.
The expo promises e-commerce-centric experiences over three days, aiming to be the year’s largest e-commerce event in Istanbul.
Nart noted the benefits for Turkish brands, including networking with global marketplaces and potential clients.
WORLDEF Istanbul 2024 will host more than 200 speakers, and over 450 retail brands, producers and suppliers across a 9,200 square meter (99,000 square foot) space.
Service providers, e-commerce investors and entrepreneurs will also take part in the e-commerce fair, where more than 1,500 merchants selling on global marketplaces such as Amazon and Etsy will also participate.
Positioned as one of the world’s largest e-commerce expos, WORLDEF Istanbul will offer unique opportunities to explore future e-commerce trends and innovations, ensuring brands stay ahead in the digital marketplace.
