The closing session of the Doha Forum 2024, held under the theme “Inevitability of Innovation”, concluded on Sunday in Qatar’s capital.
Organized in Doha on Dec. 7-8, the forum was supported by Anadolu as its Global Communication Partner.
The event, which brought together leaders and experts from around the world, focused on addressing global challenges and promoting international collaboration.
Philemon Yang, President of the UN General Assembly, and Qatar’s Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi were among the key speakers during the session.
Yang commended the Qatari government for organizing another successful edition of the forum, emphasizing the importance of fostering dialogue, diplomacy, and knowledge sharing.
Yang also highlighted the need for international cooperation, noting that it is essential for promoting peace, protecting human rights, and ensuring fair social progress.
Al-Khulaifi reflected on the forum’s focus on innovation, pointing out that the discussions had reaffirmed the importance of exchanging ideas to address the world’s most pressing issues.
The two-day event featured discussions on geopolitical tensions, global security, humanitarian crises, and technological advancements. The forum brought together world leaders, politicians, and experts to propose solutions to these challenges.
