Chelsea score two first-half goals as Bournemouth suffer loss at Stamford Bridge

ISTANBUL 

Two first-half goals helped Chelsea secure a 2-0 win Tuesday against Bournemouth on matchday 17 of the English Premier League.

Kai Havertz broke the deadlock in the 16th minute while Mason Mount scored the second goal for the Blues in the 24th minute at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are eighth with 24 points. Bournemouth are 14th with 16 points.

Manchester United beat Nottingham Forest

Manchester United defeated Nottingham Forest 3-0 for their ninth Premier League win.

The Red Devils scored the opener with a close-range finish from Marcus Rashford in the 19th minute.

Three minutes later, Anthony Martial doubled the lead at Old Trafford.

In the 40th minute, Willy Boly scored for Nottingham Forest but it was disallowed because of a tight offside call.

Fred made it 3-0, assisted by Casemiro.

Manchester United jumped to fifth place with 29 points while Nottingham Forest remained in the 19th spot with 13 points.
