Celtics beat 76ers with Jayson Tatum’s triple-double performance

Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 124-104 as their star player Jayson Tatum recorded a triple-double on Friday.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics to victory on the road against the 76ers with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists at Wells Fargo Center.

Eastern Conference’s second-placed Celtics secured their 40th win of the season, with Payton Pritchard scoring 28 points and Jaylen Brown adding 20.

Paul George scored 17 points, while Tyrese Maxey and Kelly Oubre Jr. added 16 each, but their efforts could not prevent the 76ers from suffering their 35th loss.
