Newly disclosed security camera footage shows confessed Istanbul bomber Ahlam Albashir near the scene of Sunday’s terror attack more than a week earlier.

The footage of Albashir apparently scouting Istanbul’s teeming Istiklal Avenue emerged in an official investigation of the Nov. 13 terror attack, which killed six people, including children, and injured 81 others.

In the footage from Nov. 4, Albashir is wearing jeans and a headscarf and is walking down the street around 5:30 p.m. local time.

She is also carrying roses in her hand, just as she did on the day of the attack.

The Turkish government said the attack on crowded Istiklal Avenue was carried out by the terrorist group PKK/YPG.

The police said Albashir confessed that she was trained by the PKK/YPG terror group as an intelligence operative and entered Türkiye illegally from Afrin, Syria.

In its more than 35-year terror campaign against Türkiye, the PKK – listed as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the US and the European Union – has been responsible for the deaths of more than 40,000 people, including women, children and infants. The YPG is the terror group’s Syrian offshoot.
