German Bundesliga’s Bayern Munich and French Ligue 1’s Monaco are undefeated leaders in the Europe’s top 5 football leagues.

Liverpool top the English Premier League, while Barcelona lead Spanish LaLiga and Napoli sit atop of Italian Serie A standings in the other top leagues of Europe.

Liverpool win thanks to Jota’s goal

Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at away in the English Premier League with Diogo Jota’s 9th-minute goal.

Liverpool, which started the 2024-25 season well under Arne Slot’s helm, won five matches in seven weeks.

Reigning champions Manchester City beat Fulham 3-2 at home to grab their first win after two weeks.

Arsenal extended their unbeaten run by beating Southampton 3-1 at home.

Brighton & Hove Albion defeated Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 with a comeback from 2-0 down.

In the week 7 of the Premier League, Liverpool lead with 18 points, while Manchester City and Arsenal follow them respectively with 17 points each.

Lewandowski’s hat-trick gives Barcelona win against Alaves

Spanish LaLiga leaders Barcelona won 3-0 at away against Alaves with Polish star Robert Lewandowski’s hat-trick.

The 36-year-old tallied his 10th league goal in nine weeks.

Real Madrid, one of the undefeated teams of the league with Atletico Madrid, defeated Villarreal 2-0 at Santiago Bernabeu.

Atletico Madrid settled for a 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad at away.

Turkish footballer Bertug Yildirim scored his first goal for Getafe in the match against Osasuna, which ended with a 1-1 draw.

With the week 9 left behind in LaLiga, Barcelona maintained their spot at the top with 24 points, while Real Madrid are behind with 21 points, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal with 17 points each.

Unbeaten Bayern Munich top Bundesliga with goal difference

German Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich drew 3-3 with Eintracht Frankfurt at away on Sunday.

Kim Min-jae, Dayot Upamecano and Michael Olise netted for Bayern Munich, while Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush (2) and Hugo Ekitike responded in kind.

Leipzig, which continue their relentless chase of leaders Bayern, won 1-0 against Heidenheim.

Nuri Sahin’s Borussia Dortmund suffered their second defeat in the league by losing 2-1 to Union Berlin at away, after their flashy 7-1 win against Celtic in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

After the week 6 in the league, Bayern Munich maintained their lead over Leipzig with 14 points and a goal difference, while Eintracht Frankfurt continued to follow the two teams with 13 points.

Napoli maintain their Serie A lead

In the Italian Serie A, Napoli defeated Como 3-1 with goals of Scott McTominay, Romelu Lukaku and David Neres to stay at the top spot of the league standings.

Inter beat Torino 3-2 at home, while Juventus drew 1-1 with Cagliari at home.

Roma got a 1-1 draw with Monza at away.

In the week 7, Napoli kept the top spot with 16 points. Inter follow Napoli with 14 points, Juventus, Lazio and Udinese are behind respectively with 13 points each.

Unbeaten Monaco at top spot in Ligue 1

In the week 7 of French Ligue 1, Monaco won 2-1 against Rennes with goals from Thilo Kehrer and Folarin Balogun to took the top spot as Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) dropped points.

PSG had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Nice and suffered their second point loss of the 2024-25 season.

Olympique Marseille drew 1-1 with Angers at home, while Reims beat Montpellier 4-2 at home.

Monaco are at the top spot with 19 points, while PSG follow them with 17 points, Marseille and Reims are at the 3rd and 4th spots respectively, with 14 points each.
