British driver Lando Norris extends contract with McLaren

ANKARA 

The McLaren Formula One team announced Friday that Lando Norris extended his contract with the team.

The British driver will stay with McLaren until the end of 2025, it said in a statement.

“I wanted to stay here because this is where I want to win, this is where I want to win championships,” said the 24-year-old.

Norris gained 205 points to finish sixth in the FIA Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship.
