Belgium announces provisional squad for EURO 2024

ISTANBUL 

Belgium confirmed 25 names for their squad to travel to Germany for EURO 2024 on Tuesday.

Fenerbahce’s Michy Batshuayi, who scored 24 goals this season, was not called up to the national team by manager Domenico Tedesco.

Another notable absentee is Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who ruptured the cruciate ligament in his left knee last summer.

In the first group match, Belgium will travel to Frankfurt, where they will face Slovakia on June 17.

Five days later, the Red Devils will take on Romania in Cologne and Ukraine is the opponent in the last group clash on June 26, which will be held in Stuttgart.
