Bayern Munich lost to Leipzig 3-1 in a German Bundesliga week 33 match Saturday and presented rivals Borussia Dortmund with an opportunity to win the title.
Despite Serge Gnabry’s goal in the 25th minute giving the advantage to the hosts at Allianz Arena but Bayern could not hold onto the lead.
Konrad Laimer leveled in the 64th minute, then two penalty goals, from Christopher Nkunku in the 76th minute and Dominik Szoboszlai in the 86th minute, respectively, brought a crucial win to Leipzig.
Bayern will take on Cologne in the final week match, while title rivals Dortmund will play Augsburg on Sunday, then will host Mainz 05 on May 27.
Bayern Munich still have the top spot with 68 points, while Borussia Dortmund are trailing with 67. Leipzig climbed into the third spot with 63 points.
Dortmund will end Bayern Munich’s 10-year title dynasty if they clinch the title.
