ANKARA
German powerhouse Bayern Munich beat English Premier League side Manchester United 4-3 in a UEFA Champions League Group A match Wednesday.
Leroy Sane netted the first goal of the hosts in the 28th minute at Allianz Arena.
Just four minutes later, Serge Gnabry made it 2-0 for the German Bundesliga side.
Rasmus Hojlund took one back for the Red Devils in the 49th minute, but just four minutes later, Harry Kane’s penalty goal made it 3-1.
Manchester United’s Brazilian midfielder Casemiro made it 3-2 with a goal in the 88th minute.
Bayern Munich’s young French attacker Mathys Tel tallied a late goal in the 92nd minute, then just three minutes later, Casemiro scored another one and the match ended 4-3.
Bayern Munich took the top spot in Group A with 3 points, while FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray follow them with one point each.
