An international nuclear energy event ATOMEXPO-2024 will kick off on Monday in Russian coastal city of Sochi.
The 13th edition of the forum, backed by the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation (ROSATOM), will convene under the theme ‘Clean Energy: Empowering Clean Future’.
The two-day event will be attended by managers of government agencies, the major vendors and companies of the global nuclear industry, public organizations and international experts.
The participants will discuss the role of nuclear power engineering in the national strategies to combat climate change.
A plenary meeting as well as topical roundtable talks and panel discussions will take place during the forum.
On the sidelines of the forum, multiple business meetings are expected to be held and significant partnership agreements are to be signed.
An exhibition will also take part at the forum where the leading companies of the nuclear industry and the related sectors will demonstrate their technologies.
Established in 2009, the ATOMEXPO International Forum is one of the key congress and exhibition events in the global nuclear industry.
The forum, organized under the theme ‘Nuclear Spring: Creating a Sustainable Future’ in 2022, gathered more than 3,000 experts and visitors from Russia and 65 near and far-abroad countries.
