Atletico Madrid signed Turkish central defender Caglar Soyuncu on free transfer on Wednesday, the Spanish La Liga club said.
“Caglar Soyuncu is the newest rojiblanco member! The Turkish player has signed with our club for four seasons,” Atletico Madrid said on Twitter.
Soyuncu, 27, completed his medical to finalize his contract with Atletico Madrid.
He previously played for Leicester City in 2018-2023 to win an English FA Cup and English Community Shield.
Soyuncu played 132 matches with the Foxes to score four goals, and he was a free agent in June after his contract with Leicester City expired.
He amassed 53 appearances for the Turkish national team.
