Aston Villa stunned title contenders Arsenal 2-0 in London on Sunday to let Manchester City stay on top of the English Premier League.
Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins scored for guests Aston Villa at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium.
On Saturday, Manchester City thrashed underdogs Luton Town 5-1 to top the Premier League table for the first time since Nov. 25.
After Liverpool’s surprise 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace earlier Sunday and Arsenal’s slipup, Man City put themselves in the league’s driving seat.
Defending champions Man City have 73 points in 32 matches.
Arsenal and Liverpool have 71 points each to be after the leaders.
Aston Villa are fourth with 63 points.
