Arsenal beat West Ham United 3-1 on Monday to remain atop the English Premier League in week 17 of the English Premier League.
West Ham United took the lead in the 27th minute thanks to Said Benrahma’s penalty kick on the Boxing Day clash at Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal leveled when Bukayo Saka made a close-range finish in the 53rd minute, assisted by Martin Odegaard.
five minutes later, Gabriel Martinelli made it 2-1 for the Gunners after firing a low left-footed shot past goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.
Eddie Nketiah added London football club’s third with a 73-minute goal from the penalty box.
Arsenal remained at the top of the standings with 40 points, seven ahead of second place Newcastle United.
West Ham United is in the 16th spot with 14 points.
